  • Letter from the Athletic Director

To our Soccer teams and coaches, CSP Parents, CSP Administration, and CSP Community,

I would like to congratulate both the girls and boys soccer teams for a great soccer season.  Our athletes and coaches showed a tremendous amount of dedication, pride and courage throughout the season.  This year was our inaugural season for soccer it was going to be a learning year for our program and ended up being a statement year.  I have heard so many compliments about our teams and coaches throughout the year from so many.

I have been so impressed with the improvements that each team made during the season and the successes that we were all able to experience.  Each team created an atmosphere of excitement for our school and the CSP community.

It was amazing to watch our soccer teams compete and WIN in their first ever Maryland State Playoff game.  To have such a big and supportive crowd of CSP students, parents, and administrators was an experience that we will all never forget.  Hearing the excitement from the crowd and the chants of, “CSP, CSP, CSP” showed our school spirit and support for each other, our teams, and our school.

All I can say is, watch out Anne Arundel County, the CSP Tigers are for real and they are here to stay!  Way to make everyone proud to be a CSP Tiger.  What a great way to set the example as we start this athletic program.  The foundation is being set and these teams have started a great tradition.  No one will ever be able to take that away!

    Sincerely,

    Tim Stedman

    Director of Athletics

Another First for CSP: The Spring Play

By Ms. Bulisco

Though it is only the end of first quarter, the CSP community has had the pleasure of enjoying several firsts this year including sports teams and a senior class. This November, we embark on another adventure as a community: the production of our first ever school play. The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet will be performed here at CSP this April. Our students, staff, and parents will be working hard to knock your socks off with a fantastic show! We are in need of actors and volunteers to make this production a reality. Please join us on November 13th, 14th or 16th if you are interested in being a part of yet another CSP first. Fliers with details went out November 1st to all students.  Please email Ms. Bulisco, Ms. Adolfsen, or Ms. Zambito with any questions.

Attention High School Parents!

We are in search of Class parents for Class of  2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Please contact Claudia Chang at cchang@mycsp.org if you are interested.

Student Research - Kaitlin White

Have you ever watched NCIS and thought ‘Wow, being a forensic scientist sure is interesting’?  Well jobs are available.  Forensic scientists are a huge part of the judicial system.   Forensic scientist help prove who is guilty and who is not and in violent areas people will need them.  NCIS doesn’t even show half of what you might go through to be in forensics.  Let’s take an even closer look.

CSP Costume Day!

This year was the first year that students were able to wear costumes to school!  Any student who purchased 20$ in books at the Scholastic Book Fair or donated $10 to the media was able to wear costumes to school on October 31st!  There were funny costumes, clever costumes and even teachers got involved wearing costumes that represented the solar system.  Besides the increased profits at the book fair, the donations will help the media center to purchase more non-fiction titles!  Go CSP!  Thank you for your generous spirit!
