CSP students, Kenneth Boyette, Joshua Brunk and Kaitlin White were recognized by @capgaznews
Kenneth “Glenn” Boyette is an outstanding scholar-athlete and is the Junior Class Treasurer. Besides maintaining a 4.39 GPA, including six AP classes, he has been a key member of the Chesapeake Science Point Math Team for several years and is a nationally ranked tennis player. Off campus, he participates in the GAME-ON program teaching underprivileged kids to play tennis, volunteers at Maryland City Elementary School’s Dance Club as needed, taught younger boys Tap and Hip-Hop classes for Stars Studio in Laurel, aides at a national domestic violence non-profit founded by his sister and is active in his church youth group.
With a 4.21 GPA, Joshua Brunk has taken five AP classes, plays soccer and is on the track team. He supports school activities by being an enthusiastic participant in things like Pumpkin Night, Coffee Night and athletic contests. He can always be counted on to help organize events and to clean up. He also is a leader in the classroom, always willing to help other students who might be struggling. Joshua is a wonderful example of someone who makes the Chesapeake Science Point community a great place.
Kaitlin White currently holds a 4.32 GPA. She has competed for Chesapeake Science Point in Math and Science Olympiad competitions the past three years. Kaitlin’s caring and upbeat personality impresses all of her teachers, and her work ethic is superior.
She is driven by the goals she sets for herself, and the CSP High community looks forward to her career in medicine.
